Our Mission

The mission of Memories In Clay is to provide our customers with one-of-a-kind keepsakes that they will cherish as their kids grow older.  

How we got here

Memories In Clay has been in business since 2013.  We originally sold our products exclusively on Etsy, but have expanded enough to create our own website.  You can read the whole story on this blog post, but it was a snowman that actually started the entire (snow)ball rolling for Memories in Clay (pun intended). All our Christmas ornaments have a story attached to them but the footprint snowman was special because it was something I made from the footprints of my children. I had such a wonderful response from friends and family that I began to make more and more of these. I had so many ideas that I just had to open a shop.

Who We Are

There are just 2 of us here at Memories In Clay.  We are a team that started out as high school sweethearts.  Jessica is the artist and inspiration behind everything creative here at Memories In Clay.  You can read more about her here.  Joe handles the business side of things.  We have 2 daughters, Ella and Maddy that thankfully have Jessica's artistic ability.  We also have a dog, Karma, who has been very patient with us as we use her to be our test subject for creating paw print keepsakes.
